They allow to organize, or even transport many documents classified by headings. A sorter is not a parapher! A initializer is intended to slide a letter or invoice into each compartment for ease of signing. Some sorters are printed on the front cover, others have windows or a label on the cover, to help you identify different compartments. Stapled sorters are economical but they have a lower storage capacity and are more fragile. The expandable file boxes have expandable accordion compartments.
