Hardinge Model M Round Smooth Expanding Collet, 1" Size

This Hardinge Model M round smooth expanding collet holds a workpiece by the inside surface so the outside surface can be machined, and is used with the Hardinge Model M Expanding Collet Assembly. The collet is made of hardened and ground steel, and since both the collet and the work locating stop have no end movement, exact part length is ensured. The Hardinge Model M expanding collet is an accessory for use with the Hardinge Model M Expanding Collet Assembly, which is used to hold workpieces made of metal, plastic, carbide, graphite, ceramic, and other materials in lathes and other machine tools.This collet is available in inch sizes from 49/64” to 1-9/16” and in metric sizes from 21 mm to 36 mm.
