The large surface area builds strong good bcteria colonies to support the natural nitrification cycle in converting ammnia to ntrites and ntrites to ntrates.
- SIZE AND DIMENSIONS: The size of K1 filter media is 11 x 9 mm with a surface area of >800 m2/m3. Bio Media Plus is manufactured from VIRGIN HDPE. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐: K1 Bio Media Plus filter media has large specific surface area, which can increase the area where nitrifying bcteria attach. Its density is close to the water, so that it can flow through water.
- FILTRATION APPLICATION: This K1 filtration can be used to fresh water and marine aquariums, pond filter, aquaponics, aquaculture, hydroponics water filtration.
