The wave profile on the threaded tips provides a safe and quick screwing in. Thanks to the 4CUT tip (square tip), the screws without pre-drilling (depending on the wood) are no longer a problem. The ingenious tip ensures a reduced splitting effect, displaces wood fibres and reduces the screw-in torque. The T-Star plus system ensures a clean fit and a better hold of the bit, which optimises the power transmission and protects the screw head. With the WIROX surface a high corrosion protection is provided. The alloy is chrome (VI) free and therefore more environmentally friendly than conventional surfaces. The usual 100% 'made in Germany' quality of the Spax screws is certified by an elaborate testing process by TÜV with proof of origin and offers a high level of safety and continuity.
